Uptown Funk: 22 Weeks #1

Yeah you heard it! Mark Ronson’s Uptown funk has been #1 in the Billboard© Top 100 chart for 22 weeks! Most people are asking, “Well who’s Mark Ronson?” Luckily, I have an answer to that question!

Mark Ronson is a turntablist from London, England who’s worked with many well known artists such as Jay-Z and of coarse Bruno Mars. He learned to play guitar and drums at an early age, and is known for his diverse taste. He started listening to Hip Hop mix tapes, and decided to try mixing and experimenting. After dedicating himself to music and mixing, he soon caught the attention of well known people such as Tommy Hilfiger who featured him in a fashion campaign. About a year later, Sean “P. Diddy” Combs hired Ronson to DJ his 29th birthday party. These important gigs boosted Ronson’s popularity and helped promote his music career.
