Developer Nick Lee posted a video on YouTube showing a very slow Windows 95 running on an Apple Watch. If you’re willing to wait an hour for it to boot up, you too can try this. Once its up and running its pretty slow, but its pretty functional.

The Apple Watch has more than enough power to run Windows 95, but he had to get through some obstacles in order for it to run on the watch.

In an interview by The Verge, the developer told them that he had to modify Apple’s Development software in “rather unorthodox ways” This helped him to emulate the environment of a Windows 95 machine. Another obstacle was that the watch’s screen wanted to turn off a lot, so he created a motorized device to constantly spin the digital crown so the watch doesn’t fall asleep.

This new creation is pretty cool, and I can’t wait to see what else developers can do with future products, and even today’s products.
