Staking Program
The Staking program will be extended from March 2021 to December 2021. The rewards provided for staking will continue to be 0.1% daily or 36.5% per annum through March 31 2021. After March 31 2021, the staking rewards will be 0.07% daily or 25.55% per year. This staking extension of rewards is non-inflationary as the rewards are already budgeted. The staking capacity will be increased to accommodate this change and the Whitepaper will be updated in due course.
Automated Withdrawals
As security is of paramount importance to Verasity we have provided an opt-in feature for existing VeraWallet accounts that have 2FA enabled and a minimum of 5,000 VRA available for withdrawal. [Updated 1 April 2021]
Speed up Manual Withdrawals
To speed up manual withdrawals we have increased the minimum VRA amount of withdrawal from VeraWallet to 5,000 VRA starting today. This will reduce the number of small withdrawals which are slowing down the process. [Updated 1 April 2021]
Gas Fees
As all of you know Ethereum gas fees have skyrocketed and as a result we have set the TX fee in VeraWallet to 600 VRA. [Updated 1 April 2021]
