One of the exciting new features we added in our 2019 update is VRApool, a staking program for VRA holders. When you stake VRA, you receive rewards every 24 hours at a rate of 0.1% of the VRA staked. This daily interest rate of 0.1% is the equivalent of 3% every 30 days or 36.5% per year.

Key facts about VRApool staking:
- VRApool will open on March 8th, 2019
- Every 24 hours VRA is staked, holders receive 0.1% bonus VRA as a reward. The bonus VRA rewards do not have any lock and are paid directly into your VeraWallet.
- Minimum stake: 100,000 VRA (daily staking reward = 100 VRA)
- Maximum stake: 50,000,000 VRA (daily staking reward = 50,000 VRA)
- Minimum staking period: 24 hours
- Withdrawals: Staked VRA can be withdrawn at any time after the minimum 24 hour period. Once a withdrawal / unstake is started, there is a 72 hour ‘lock-out’ period.
The VRApool staking program has a limited capacity. Once the pool is filled, additional VRA cannot be staked until another user un-stakes. If you want to stake VRA and receive the 0.1% VRA reward per 24 hours, we suggest that you stake your VRA on the 8th March to avoid missing out.
The VRApool rewards are funded from a new token allocation; “Staking Program” that contains 1,498,980,000 VRA. This pool was funded from unsold VRA. This pool will allow the rewards to be paid out for at minimum 2 years from the date VRApool opens.
How to Stake
To stake VRA, you will need to create a VeraWallet account (available from March 8th,2019) and have at least 100,000 VRA in your VeraWallet account.
After sending at least 100,000 VRA to your VeraWallet account, you can then stake VRA from the staking tab in your VeraWallet. Once you have staked VRA, you can manage your stake from your VeraWallet account.
Within VeraWallet, you can manage your VRA staking. Every 24 hours you have VRA staked, 0.1% bonus VRA will be paid to your VeraWallet account. For example, if you have 300,000 VRA staked, every 24 hours you will receive 300 bonus VRA.
