As long as it’s legal, Verasity won’t be saying what should and shouldn’t be on the platform.

It’s up to you what you upload on Verasity but we’ll incentivise certain types of creators to upload video content to start with. Eventually we’d love Verasity to be a place when you can watch everything from Vlogs to pay-per-view sports, films, TV series, or documentaries.

This a feature on Verasity which allows a creator to put up part of their channel on the marketplace and allow users to purchase it. The creator gets a lump sum of VERA to help fund a project or grow their channel. The users who own the smart-contracts receive a portion of the channel’s revenue until they sell them. Our aim is for production studios to fund new films and TV series through the marketplace. Imagine backing what you love and being able to receive rewards off the back of its success.
For too long now existing platforms have decided what is right and what is wrong. From a tone point of view Verasity is going more down the Reddit moderation angle. As long as what you’re uploading isn’t illegal, copyright infringing, or directly attacking someone etc then the community will decide what content flourishes or on the other hand flounders.
