What the Binance Partnership means for Verasity
On 24th May, 2019, Verasity, the digital currency for online video players announced a partnership with Binance Chain, a blockchain software system developed by Binance and the community, in a move that will bring about a new incentivised video economy. This will pave the way for more global publishers, creators and advertisers to enter the crypto space.
The reasons for Verasity’s impending move to Binance Chain include:
· Partnership with Binance has many intangible values as well as concrete ones
· Speed — more frequent block generation leading to faster transactions. It is based on the Tendermint BFT consensus algorithm without embedded smart contracts. The current TPS of the blockchain is thousands but can be scaled significantly.
· Time to confirmation — 1 second which is faster by an order of magnitude than any of its competitors not to mention Ethereum which is on average 6 minutes.
· Binance’s team intends to build the best DEX in the world and the Binance blockchain is designed to handle a great amount of trading volume with a high level of UI/UX. Their DEX is already handling the highest amount of organic traffic of any DEX available.
· Scalability — The Binance blockchain appears to be on equal footing with leaders like EOS, Tron and Stellar.
· Security — decentralized exchange of tokens
· Security — listing of new tokens are approved by the community, so a lower possibility of token spoofing
· Security — token smart contract is implemented by the blockchain and has a higher security level
· Price — lower and more stable TX fees
· Binance exchange is the standard for stable liquidity and low fees
· Given the product quality, the size of the financial resources and experience of the team, this exchange will likely remain in the leading position for the foreseeable future.
· Due to its huge trading volume and client base, Binance will be able to provide high liquidity on its DEX, quickly obtaining leadership in this space.
· BNB is available through all the CoinFlip ATMs
· Binance Coin is one of the best performing altcoins in the cryptoverse and that rubs off on all the BNB tokens of which VRAB will be a recipient.
· Binance has a developed infrastructure and significant resources to dominate most its business endeavours.
