AI START-UP RECOGNIZED FOR TRANSFORMING COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS INTO SMART, SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENTS

Today, Verdigris was named to Fast Company magazine’s 2017 ranking of the world’s 50 Most Innovative Companies. Recognizing the leading enterprises that exemplify the best in nimble business and impactful innovation, Fast Company honored Verdigris as one of the top ten firms disrupting the energy sector.

Being recognized alongside this incredible set of companies is a great honor. Our mission to create sustainable built environments has transformed an esoteric insight of mapping electric signals into a vision of how artificial intelligence (AI) will enrich future human life. I am incrediblyproud of our team and look forward to the achievements we will build together.

Our patented AI platform and smart electrical sensors transform large, mission-critical facilities into living environments. Each Verdigris sensor wirelessly streams thousands of data points per second from a building’s electrical panel to the cloud. Our AI analyzes these electrical ‘fingerprints’ in real time to automatically optimize building controls, predict future breakdowns and send facilities managers critical notifications. By analyzing these continuous streams of data, Verdigris drives smarter and more responsive facilities operations, saving commercial buildings tens of thousands to millions of dollars annually on energy costs.

Our customers include Autodesk, Honeywell, Hyatt Hotels, Intercontinental Hotels, Jabil, JBS, Marriott, NRG and Starwood Hotels — and hopefully you. We are also proud of our partnership with NASA to research sustainable habitats and predictive analytics that could reduce failure on future space missions.

Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies issue (March 2017) is now available online at https://www.fastcompany.com/most-innovative-companies/2017 as well as in app form via iTunes, and will be on newsstands beginning February 21.
