New Year, new upload options

Verifeye Media is committed to pushing the boundaries in tech and media. We are constantly building, testing, and iterating while immersing ourselves in the latest developments within the news industry.

Based on lots of feedback from our contributors during 2016, we can now announce a major new feature — video upload through our website, from desktop, laptop, or smartphone.

This means that if you want to shoot on a DSLR, mirrorless, GoPro, drone, broadcast camera, etc, you can now do so, and upload it to us.

It also means that if you want to use a different camera app, including apps on an Android device, you can upload that too.

To be clear, using the Verifeye Media Pro Camera app is still the quickest way to upload to us, and we can verify it faster than any other footage, so in breaking news situations we still recommend that you use our app if possible and practical. However, we also know there are times when having the option to use other cameras will deliver even more exciting and compelling stories and we are very excited to reveal this new feature.
