Houston also covered the ----5.5-point spread quite easily. The defense was impressive giving up only three points in a pivotal must-win game. Houston on the season is averaging 22.1 points while their defense is giving up 20.9 points per game. Other standouts on the Texans include leading rusher Devin Singletary with 835 yards and three touchdowns, and the leading receiver is Nico Collins with 1,102 yards and seven touchdown receptions. The Texans have been money for bettors winning each of their last seven road games against AFC South opponents.

The Indianapolis Colts face the same destiny, win, and they are in. Last Sunday wasn’t the prettiest game, but the Colts were able to lock up the 23–20 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. The Colts failed to cover the spread as -3.5 point home favorites and are 9–7 ATS on the season. The offense is ranked 10th in football but the defense has been an issue giving up 24.5 points per game. In this game, the defense is going to need to find a way to get going. The Colts are led by passionate QB Gardner Minshew who has thrown for 3164 yards, 15 TDs, and 9 INTs. The Colts will need to limit turnovers and put a little less pressure on their defense. The Colts are just 1–3 ATS in their last 4 games.

This should be an entertaining game with everything on the line in Week 18. Will we see a repeat of Week 2 with the Colts pulling away with the win? I think we have two teams that look a little different from the start of the season. Since starting the season 0–2 and their loss to Indianapolis, the Texans have gone 9–5 and rookie QB CJ Stroud has looked very impressive. On the flip side, Indianapolis has a top-10 offense but their Achilles heel has been their defense. I see this game with the chance of some fireworks with both teams laying it all out on the line. These teams played to a total of 51 in Week 2 and I see a similar outlook for this Week 18 showdown which is why I will pound the Over 47.5. Indy’s defense has struggled all season and their offense will have a score to keep up with the Texans.
