Friday night ACC football from the Carrier Dome as the Pittsburgh Panthers (4–2) are on the road to take on the Syracuse Orange (3–3). Last season, the Panthers won 44–37 in OT as +3.5 point dogs at home and they eclipsed the 58 point total.
Pitt (4–2 ATS, 2–4 O/U) enters this matchup on Friday night with confidence after winning 3 straight games over UCF, Delaware, and Duke. Pittsburgh is 8–2 in its last 10 head-to-head matchups against Syracuse while Syracuse is 1–4 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Panthers have played well on the road going 5–1 ATS their last 6 road games but I feel our edge in taking the Under 51.5. Pitt’s defense will be able to penetrate this Syracuse offensive line while Syracuse’s defense will make the Panthers one dimensional with the passing game.
