The American Athletic Conference meets Conference U.S.A in the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl with the Tulane Green Wave battling it out with the Southern Miss Golden Eagles. Southern Miss backed into bowl season, losing their final two games of the regular season to Western Kentucky and Florida Atlantic.
