NBA is back from the All-Star break and tonight’s action features two of the top Eastern Conference teams with the Washington Wizards visiting the Cleveland Cavaliers (-5.5). Cleveland leads the NBA Central Division and the Wizards lead the NBA Southeast Division.

Washington had won seven of ten heading into the All-Star break and the Wizards have gone 5–2 since John Wall went down with a knee injury. The Wizards are 10th in the league in scoring offense with 107.4 points per game and 15th in the league as they allow 105.5 points per game on the year. Bradley Beal leads the team with 23 PPG followed by Otto Porter Jr. (14.4 PPG). The Wizards are (16–14) on the road this season and 6–1 ATS their last 7 road games.

Cleveland was in the midst of a four-game winning streak prior to the break and they are 2–0 with their new look lineup. The Cavs made some deals before the trade deadline to bring in some new blood including Larry Nance Jr, George Hill, and Rodney Hood to name a few. LeBron James leads the team with 26.5 PPG and 8.1 RPG. The Cavaliers are 5th in the league in scoring this season with 110.2 points per game but their defense has been awful this season, allowing 110 PPG.

The Wizards have played surprisingly well without John Wall but this is the time of year that LeBron and the Cavs turn it up a notch. The Cavs have already beaten the Wizards twice this season in Washington and playing at home, should also help their cause. I like the way the Cavs match up against Washington and I will lay the -5.5 points with Cleveland to bring their winning streak to five games.
