Singapore Travel Rule Working Group Launched!

We are stoked to have formed the Singapore Travel Rule Working Group and hosted our inaugural session where we covered topics on the regulative landscape pertaining to Travel Rule. The session started with a knowledge sharing from our experiences in other jurisdictions on implementing a solution for Travel Rule compliance.

The second part of the working group saw an active roundtable discussion on several pertinent issues that required a coherent and consistent interpretation. The outcome of the discussion would eventually form the foundation and co-creation of industry-wide practices to ensure seamless compliance to PSN02.

Key decision items and a summary of the working group meeting will be summarised and shared with regulators as part of a consolidated feedback loop from the industry.

A broad cross section of the industry was represented at the workshop with representatives from Amber, Coinbase, Coinhako, Coinut, Crypto.com, Chainalysis, DTC, Fireblocks, FTX, Hodlnaut, OSL, Pundi X, Sparrow, Sygnum, Tokenize Xchange, TripleA, Upbit and Zipmex.

The group is committed to continual engagement and discussion, with subsequent sessions to be planned.
