EBCoin Chooses VeriME as Partner For Their Customer D-KYC And Authentication

In a deal which was closed last week, EBCoin — a startup by EBC Foundation — announced their partnership with the Singapore-based company VeriME for their customer verification and authentication.

This move which was unveiled to the media by VeriME company officials came shortly after the company successfully completed their pre-tokensale on the 4th of February 2018, raising a whopping $6.89 million last week!

Announcing this partnership, the CEO of EBCoin, Jason Kim said, “We are excited to have VeriME as our newest partners. Leveraging their decentralized KYC and Payment Authentication solutions, we will reduce friction caused due to the traditional means of customer verification and authentication.”

Traditional means of authentication and verification have caused companies to spend an average of $60 million on customer verification and authentication. Aside from this, the process is time consuming which further tends to complicate the customer onboarding process.

Saving the costs while offering verification as well as authentication within seconds, comes VeriME — a blockchain-based VaaS (Verification as a Service) provider. EBCoin is a Singapore-based start-up which seeks to address the expensive obstacles that tourists currently face while shopping abroad. Chief among these are the various consumption taxes.
