Dear VeriME community we are glad to contact you via SEPTEMBER 2018 news letter. Its been a very busy month for the team and there is still more to look forward to before the end of the year. I am sure you are following our telegram channel and social media sites. These are some of the events that took place this month. We are glad to share these via this newsletter.
Yaaaayyyyy….. VeriME Went live on EGate
VeriME has recently collaborated with EGATE, one of the leading crypto wallet and payment gateway provider based in Central America. Given the rising cost and challenges of KYC and payment authentication processes, VeriME’s D-KYC and D-SECURE solutions are quickly being adopted by many payment gateway companies. Starting 30th August 2018 EGATE went live with VeriME and we are delighted to share this news with our community.
As part this partnership, VeriME’s VME token will also be listed as one of EGATE’s crypto assets. EGATE’s merchants will now be able to accept VME token along with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, Litecoin etc. from their customers.
EGATE was founded in 2016, and aspire to provide user friendly services though their creative and innovative solutions to crypto community. EGATE services include blockchain payment gateway, crypto wallet for consumers, crypto stored value cards for the payment ecosystem. Additionally, EGATE is also positioned to issue prepaid debit cards for crypto wallet users which can be accepted at point-of-sale terminals and eCommerce retailers globally by Q4 2018.
As safety was one or their primary concerns, EGATE took the opportunity to bridge their services together with VeriME. With this partnership EGATE will be using VeriME’s D-KYC solution for their customer and merchant on-boarding needs. They would also be using VeriME’s D-Auth & D-Secure features for their user and payment authentications. With VeriME’s products, EGATE is making way to provide their customers & merchants, an unique value added service by not only processing their transactions, but making it a solid digital platform that provides secure identity verification needs and maintains data online which is fast and easy. With VeriME’s decentralized blockchain system it will eliminate risk of data leakage and ensures complete privacy for EGATE customers and also by complying to regulatory needs such as local data sovereignty and compliance!
With VME being a “utility token”, the tokens used as a service fee will be distributed among the ecosystem of EGATE and their consumers. In other words, EGATE customers will be entitled to receive usage fee in the form of VME tokens into their personal wallets each time they perform a transaction. On the other hand, EGATE as VeriME partner will also be entitled to referral fee in the form of VME tokens which can be used to buy more services from VeriME. This way VeriME will also benefit as it will motivate the growth of VeriME ecosystem and increase the value of VME Tokens in the long run facilitating it to become a self operating Ecosystem.

VeriME, a pioneer in Verification as a service (VaaS) launched one of our core products D-KYC (Know Your Customer) today on the Ethereum blockchain. Since 2017, VeriME had been providing KYC solutions to its clients through legacy product. With the launch of D-KYC, VeriME has now embraced blockchain based, decentralized ecosystem providing transparency, data ownership to its users. Additionally, the new solution is also designed to comply and protect its clients from local data sovereignty requirements. Whilst Company’s initial plan was to roll out their products in Vietnam as part of their soft launch, it is worth noting that their solution can now support more than 250+ countries and territories across the globe. The verification process can be performed by the customer anytime, anywhere in 3 minutes on the customer’s mobile device. VeriME enhances the transparency and accuracy of transactions and improves user experience, while saving time and money for KYC processes and customer authentication.
VeriME launch was held in Hanoi, Vietnam on the 5th September 2018 where — VeriME co-founders Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh and Mr. Sanjeev Kumar were present with few of their major clients, namely Mr. Dao Minh Phu — CEO of Ngan Luong, Mr. Nguyen Huu Tuat — CEO of MPOS & FastGo and Mr. Nguyen Hong Nguyen — CEO. Representatives from EGATE, VeriME’s American partner as well as many dignitaries from Vietnam’s GovtTech and RegTech organizations were also present at the event.
To mark the launch, the opening address was delivered by Mr. Binh followed by VeriME product briefing and demonstration by Mr. Andy, VeriME’s Product Manager. A signing ceremony was held where Mr. Sanjeev signed agreements with Ngân Lượng, MPOS, Weshop and EGATE, and the event concluded with Q&A session & light refreshments.
D-KYC will be a back bone for financial institutions, insurance companies and many other industries to eradicate the issues of money laundering, terrorist financing and many issues involving identity theft. It will also eliminate the inefficient, tedious processes, risk of human errors and simply time consuming traditional data collecting processes that negatively impacts customer experience. With the transparency of blockchain system organisations will gain from easy, fast and clean up-to-date customer data. From a customer standpoint, an blockchain-enabled KYC process will be helpful in reducing on-boarding wait times and eliminate the need to repeatedly provide the same information to the service providers.
With VeriME’s D-SECURE solution, partners would be able to seamlessly authenticate customers during the purchase of goods and services. This will help merchants & partners achieve seamless and secure authentication. The D-Secure service which allows authentication of VeriME users within seconds which will minimise customer drop-off rates. This solution would not only authenticate the customer, but also would provide full chargeback/dispute protection to VeriME partners and their merchants. In other word D-Secure is authentication made faster easier and secure at the comfort of users own digital space.
VeriME’s products protect its Partners and ensure their compliance with local, in-country regulations such as prohibition of transmission of confidential or sensitive information of an individual outside its boundaries (also known as Local Data Sovereignty laws) as mentioned earlier. VeriME’s solutions is also designed in such a way that it does not transmit confidential or sensitive information such as PCI DSS [Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards] and PII [Personally Identifiable Information] data, during KYC and Authentication processes.

With the partnership agreement signed on September 7, 2018, we are glad to share with our community that MPOS, Weshop, FastGo, EGate are the first payment partners to implement the Blockchain D-KYC platform for digital identity verification. Hours of hard work had paid of with this in hand for VeriME Team.
VeriME enhances the transparency and accuracy of transactions and improves user experience while saving time and money for KYC and Customer Authentication processes.
Based on Blockchain’s non-centric model, with VeriME, customer profiles are verified and certified, stored on their mobile devices, ensuring privacy and risk-taking. Data leakage. After extensive testing and product development, VeriME has officially launched its D-KYC digital signature verification solution. By the end of September, VeriME will deploy D-Secure authentication and payment authentication solutions.
Also within the framework of the launch of D-KYC, VeriME has announced a strategic partnership agreement with MPOS, Weshop, FastGo and EGate payment partners in providing Digital Identification Verification Based on the Blockchain platform, it simplifies the authentication process, making the process more seamless and secure with VeriME authentication solutions.
This can be considered as the initial step to build an ecosystem to avoid loss of confidential data, and compliance with local data ownership. In the future, continuing to develop this application with more participants will accelerate the change on a fast pace.
