New Age Progression Image Aims To Find Answers On Missing 8-Year-Old

A new age progression image has been released to mark what should be the 34th birthday of a little girl missing for 25 years.

Shy’Kemmia Pate was eight years old and lived in Unadilla, Georgia with her mother Veronica and three older siblings in 1998. On the evening of September 4th that year, the youngster was excited to attend the big high school football game with some of her family members.

Veronica had to stay late at work for training, so her eldest daughter LaSwanda said she would take Shy’Kemmia and headed home to get ready. Realising she needed gas for her car, LaSwanda let Shy’Kemmia out into the front yard to play with the neighbours’ kids (something that wasn’t uncommon) and said she would swing by to get her on her return from the gas station.

However, when LaSwanda came back to the house a short time later, Shy’Kemmia was no longer on the front porch. In fact, she was nowhere to be found.

At first, LaSwanda wasn’t too worried because she assumed the little girl had got a ride with one of the other families. At the time, the block was a hubbub of activity thanks to the game and everyone knew everyone else anyway; it…
