Tom ‘The Bishop’ Stephens

--

Serial Killer or just crazy?

In this blog I examine evidence that may help us to understand whether Tom Stephens was the ‘Real’ Suffolk strangler.

There is certainly a great deal more evidence to suggest Stephens is the real killer, still out there trawling the streets than there ever has been to accurately put Steve Wright in the frame. I cannot state catergorically that I believe Stephens to be a killer but, I will present evidence to help you decide.

Tom "The Bishop" Stephens

Who is Tom Stephens

Tom Stephens is a former special constable who roamed the streets of the red light area in Ipswich UK during the time of the abduction and killing of five prostitutes from the area.

He called Suffolk Police on November 21st 2006 before any of the missing women had been found and told them that “he feared he may be the next Ian Huntley”. We know Huntley as the cruel man responsible for the murder of two 10-year-old schoolgirls, Jessica Chapman & Holly Wells.

On December 11th 2006 after three of the missing prostitutes, Gemma Adams, Tania Nicol & Anneli Alderton had been found Tom Stephens told police “I would have strangled them had I been the killer”. As most of you know all the girls were confirmed to have died from ‘Compression to the neck’.
