The Evmos Momentum Hackathon is Evomos’ first large-scale hackathon event designed to enrich infrastructures, DeFi and NFT projects in the Evmos ecosystem. The Hackathon received much attention worldwide, with a total of $500K in prize money and $10M in Investment & Liquidity Funding.
Evmos is Cosmos’s first EVM-compatible blockchain, vital in scalably supporting exchanges between layers. In terms of connecting Ethereum and Cosmos, Evmos is Layer 1, which Team verse2 has been carrying out technical analysis. Team verse2 decided that this Hackathon was an excellent opportunity to understand the characteristics of the Evmos ecosystem and the development environment.
As a result, it was honored to occupy 2nd place in the DeFi category within Hackathon. Following NEAR, Ethereum, and Polygon, the Evmos Momentum award demonstrates the development team’s chain-agnostic capabilities. verse2 will continue to seize opportunities based on in-depth knowledge and establish itself as the leading player as a DApp Builder and Ecosystems infrastructure builder.
