Technology is a continuously evolving system, and it’s in the embrace of change that we find innovation. In the ever-evolving era of technology and business, we venture into the landscape of Oracle HCM Cloud, where we explore the transformative 23D updates that Oracle has in store for us in this dynamic system.

EMPLOYMENT

Add Nonworkers as Managers in Responsive Employment flows:

In the responsive Employment processes, you have the option to designate Nonworkers as Line Managers:

WORKFORCE STRUCTURES

Position Budgeting:

Position Budgeting has been introduced aiming to capture Budgetary values and ensure their adherence. You are now able to define a budgetary period and assess your activity with these predefined values.

A position budget table, budget configuration options, and a mechanism to load and store position budgets using HCM Data Loader (HDL) are delivered. You can now use this budget information to alert the users when they exceed the budget.

You can define the position budget for:

· FTE (Full full-time equivalent)

· Headcount

· Budget Amount

You can define position budgets at the following levels:

· Business Unit

· Department

· Location

· A combination of any of the above

Add the Scheduling Group Attribute for Jobs:

The Scheduling Group attribute enables you to categorize jobs with similar skill requirements, facilitating efficient Workforce Scheduling.

Scheduling Group and Job Function added to Oracle Search for Jobs:

Improve your job search by incorporating the Scheduling Group and Job Function into Oracle Search. While Job Function has been a pre-existing attribute for job searches, the Scheduling Group attribute is a new addition in this release. Both of these attributes are now included as advanced filters on the job search page. It’s important to note that these filters are initially deactivated in the display columns.

Improved User Experience for selecting LOVS on Position, Job, and Location pages:

Choosing LOV values has become more straightforward with the elimination of the recent items feature from client-side LOVs on the Jobs, Locations, and Positions responsive pages. These LOVs on these pages are now improved to present all the accessible items. It’s important to be aware that only the initial 25 matching values will be visible in the LOV. To locate additional values, you’ll need to fine-tune your search criteria.

JOURNEYS:

Configure Journey Task Completion Criteria for each Journey and Task:

Oracle has elevated capacity to guidelines for the Journey Task completion Criteria feature. These regulations can be based on data derived from the supported application objects.

Additional Attributes Displayed when Selecting Workers on Journey Pages:

You can now select the correct worker assignment when you assign a journey:

Journey Alerts support Token Translations:

The translated token values in the subject and body text of journey alert notifications are now displayed in the preferred language of the notification’s recipient.

Subtitles for all Journey Categories:

Specify Archive duration when creating Journeys:

You must now set the archive duration for Journeys templates when you create a journey from the Explore tab:

Specify Task expiry when creating Journey Tasks:

You must specify an expiry duration when you create journey tasks.

Quick Action for Assigned Journeys page:

You can now open the Assigned Journeys page directly for a worker by using the new Assigned Journeys quick action.

REDWOOD USER EXPERIENCE:

If you are using or looking forward to using the Redwood experience, then you will be excited to see that the number of Core HR pages now offers the Redwood experience as listed below:
