“The best Talent Acquisition strategy is one that combines the power of technology with the insight of human intuition.” Having said that, Oracle’s ever-evolving Generative AI tech has brought together both of these elements as closely as possible. Let’s dive into what Oracle has in store for us with this inaugural release of the year in the Recruiting Cloud.

CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE AUTOMATION WITH GENERATIVE AI — JOB CATEGORY TILES AND LANDING PAGES

This feature will let you create a career site with splash pages and landing pages. The application will automatically create category tiles on the splash and corresponding landing pages based on selected one or more job categories:

CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE GENERATIVE AI — JOB FIT

This feature compares information from a candidate’s profile with the job information on the job details page using Generative Adaptive Intelligence (AI). Elements from a candidate’s profile like skills, job history, education, and other data are matched against those on the Job Details page on a scale from 0 to 5.

This feature helps candidates get comparative information against Job Details immediately and in turn, improves the quality of Job Postings.

EXPLORE JOBS USING ORACLE MAPS

Oracle Maps, introduced in the release 23D will be replacing Google Maps and Bing Maps for everyone. This is included in the Recruiting License without any additional cost. Oracle Maps are enhanced to load faster as compared to previous releases. When a location pin is clicked, all location names are now listed once, followed by a list of Job titles. The look and feel of the page have improved significantly.

Note: The Generative AI features are currently available to customers hosted in the US and Canada data center regions. Refer to the Fusion Generative AI Data Center Region Availability document for more information about the specific data center regions where the features are available.

FEATURE NAME CHANGES FROM BEST TO SUGGESTED

The Adaptive Intelligence (AI) Feature names will be changed from ‘Best’ to ‘Suggested’ to depict how the features are used during candidate, career, or successor recommendation. For example,

  • Best Candidate to Suggested Candidate
  • Best Career to Suggested Career
  • Best Successor to Suggested Successor

CANDIDATE INTERVIEWS

1. ‘Completed’ status in the interview tab when a candidate’s interview is completed (when the end date and time of the interview are now in the past).

2. New Categories are available in the Recruiting Content Library:

a. Interview Calendar File For Candidates

b. Interview Calendar File For Interviewers

c. Interview Office 365 Event For Interviewers

3. Interview Title for Candidate Interviews: An Interview Title (like a first interview, second interview, or a technical interview) can be defined when an Interview Schedule or Interview Schedule Template is created:

CANCEL AND REDRAFT OFFERS

A Recruiting User can cancel a job offer for a candidate using a new simple one-step process- by selecting the ‘Cancel Offer’ Action. Once selected, the Phase will be in the read-only mode, the State will default to ‘Rejected by Employer’ (can be changed to ‘Withdrawn by Candidate’ if needed), and an optional ‘Comment’ field where a reason can be entered for Rejecting the candidate’s application. The ‘Redraft Offer’ action can be used for Job Applications that are in the HR phase:

RECRUITING BOOSTER

Search Enhancements for Hiring Events in Candidate Experience: Candidates can find better hiring events that they want to attend with the new Hiring Events search enhancements. This includes support for:

1. My Location search

2. Postal Code Search

3. Distance Calculation

4. Radius Search (supported for all locations search modes)

Enhanced Internal Candidate Experience Skill: Oracle has introduced the enhanced Internal Candidate Experience V2 (ICE V2) within Recruiting Booster. These enhancements make it easier and quicker for candidates to search for jobs and access interview schedules. The salient features are:

1. Enhanced job search using location, job category, and job function synonyms.

2. Ability to view interview schedules.

3. Ability to exit the conversation at any time.
