Announcing cbETH Grow Pool
Vesper Finance furthers its support for Liquid Staked Tokens by introducing a vacbETH Pool.

What is cbETH?
cbETH is Coinbase’s wrapped token that represents staked ETH on Coinbase. Anyone who stakes ETH through Coinbase will receive a cbETH token that reflects their value share. However, because of its design, cbETH is not interchangeable at a 1:1 ratio with ETH but instead, includes all staked ETH plus any accrued rewards. This type of model means that over time the price of cbETH could deviate from ETH and increase as rewards are accumulated.
cbETH can be utilized in three main ways; exiting a staked ETH position, transferring to a non-custodial wallet, and as a liquid token that can be deposited on DeFi protocols. If you would like to learn more, you can visit Coinbase’s introduction to cbETH.
How to get Involved
With Vesper, users can now deposit cbETH to earn an additional yield on top of their staked Coinbase ETH by following these instructions:
- Visit the Vesper app
- Find the vacbETH pool
- Input your desired amount
- Approve the transaction
- Finally, deposit the required assets
After doing so, you will receive a vToken (Vesper Pool token) representing your weight in the pool. For this specific pool, it is vacbETH (cbETH). You can visit the pool page to realize your earnings or withdraw anytime.
