Bringing rETH to Vesper
Vesper’s latest collaboration sees the introduction of a varETH Pool.
Overview
Vesper’s latest addition to the Grow Pool lineup, varETH, enhances the utility of Rocket Pool’s staked ETH by enabling users to receive rETH rewards, yield on Vesper, and VSP tokens simultaneously. The pool will be boosted by 2000 VSP starting February 7th and will run for 30 days. After that, they will revert back to the VSP emissions framework.
This type of capital efficiency is unmatched when it comes to earning yield. By depositing rETH into Vesper’s varETH pool, users will not only gain rewards from their rETH position but also earn extra from Vesper yield strategies, no strings attached.
What is Rocket Pool?
Rocket Pool’s liquid staking token simplifies staking on Ethereum 2.0 by reducing the typical capital and hardware requirements for users. Dubbed the “first truly decentralized Ethereum staking protocol,” they eliminate third-party involvement through a trustless network of node operators. The standout feature being its versatility, enabling users to earn rewards while engaging with other DeFi protocols.

How to Deposit rETH into Vesper
With Vesper, users can now deposit rETH to earn an additional yield on top of their staked Rocket Pool ETH by following these instructions:
- Visit the Vesper app
- Find the varETH pool
- Input your desired amount
- Approve the transaction
- Finally, deposit the required assets
After doing so, you will receive a vToken (Vesper Pool token) representing your weight in the pool. For this specific pool, it is rETH. You can visit the pool page to realize your earnings or withdraw at any time.
