TVL & System Revenue
On Friday, Vesper briefly eclipsed $400 million in TVL in less than three weeks from launch.
TVL has retraced to ~$300 million since, which yielded an all-time high of another sort — $600,000 in revenue over the past 24 hours. As with all Vesper products, 95% of this revenue buys back VSP, delivered to depositors in the vVSP pool.
Speaking of buybacks: Over 50% of circulating supply is deposited to vVSP. But as revenue continues to build, APY grows too. vVSP APY continues to fluctuate between 200–300%. All of this yield comes from open market buybacks from platform revenue.
Loopring
VSP is now trading live on Loopring’s L2 orderbook and AMM. There is an ongoing liquidity mining campaign where market makers earn VSP. See our official announcement for more details.
Balancer
VSP is now whitelisted on Balancer! Liquidity providers who post VSP to liquidity pools now earn BAL rewards. Balancer enables users to create their own AMM that encompasses up-to eight assets with target pool weights.
SushiSwap Onsen
As part of Vesper’s integration into Onsen, Jeff Garzik joined the SushiSwap Forum for an AMA. (See those details in the YouTube section.)
The SushiSwap Geyser has been extended for +14 days while the engineers work through a solution to provide VSP rewards on top of the SUSHI rewards enabled through Onsen. Stay tuned to know when VSP + SUSHI rewards go live!
