Commemorating Vesper
This week marked the second anniversary since the original Vesper reveal.
In an interview with CoinDesk, Co-founder Jeff Garzik described Vesper as a simple “kind of ‘set it and forget it’ type of product.” This statement still reflects Vesper’s product, mission, and values as much today as it did two years ago.
Shortly after, Vesper took the virtual stage at OECD Global Blockchain Policy Forum alongside Compound and Maker. Co-founder Jordan Kruger participated in the discussion, “Deep Dive: Decrypting Decentralized Finance (DeFi) in 2020,” showcasing Vesper’s potential in the DeFi space.

Saddle Finance Yield Bearing AMM
Vesper’s innovative Yield Bearing AMM on Saddle Finance, launched earlier this week, represents a major unlocker in capital efficiency for liquidity providers. Powered by Vesper Earn, users can provide liquidity to our Saddle pool with FRAX Earn deposits. Because Vesper Earn converts yield, deposits trade as “wrapped FRAX” and are always valued 1:1 with underlying FRAX.
The result: an LP position with productive TVL earning yield through Vesper and enabling an underlying APY for the liquidity provider on top of trading fees and token emissions.
Vesper-on-Arable Goes Live
Vesper-deployed AVAX and USDC.n Avalanche Grow pools have recently been added as collateral assets on Arable Protocol. Depositors in these pools can deposit their position onto Arable and borrow their synthetic arUSD at 0% interest and earn additional APY in doing so.
