Vesper Deploys New Optimism Strategy
With the introduction of Vesper-Optimism pools comes a new Sonne Finance strategy!

As Vesper rolled out support for Optimism, we made sure to carefully examine the DeFi landscape to identify the most promising opportunities for attractive APYs. Sonne Finance leverage strategies caught our attention as an excellent initial approach for delivering sustainable yield. This strategy involves collateralizing and borrowing the same token, taking advantage of situations where the borrowing rate is lower than the supply APY. Learn more about Vesper strategies.
The available Vesper-Optimism pools include the following, with plans to expand the selection soon:
USDC — Current earning rate of 4.70%
ETH — Current earning rate of 1.94%
OP — Current earning rate of 9.12%
Keep in mind that Vesper has received a 75k OP grant which will be used to boost APY for the Vesper-Optimism pools. As a result, users can anticipate higher earning rates in the near future as OP rewards are gradually distributed.
