Costly gas fees are a barrier to entry for many in DeFi. With an eye toward a multi-chain future, Vesper marked its first Layer-2 integration with the Polygon network — enabling users to deposit, withdraw and manage their Vesper-deployed funds via Polygon on the Vesper app!

Initial Vesper Grow pools supported on Polygon include MATIC, USDC, DAI, WETH, and WBTC.

Vesper’s strategies on Ethereum mainnet are also portable to EVM chains beyond Polygon. Yield opportunities are expanding to other chains, and with gas prices on Ethereum remaining high, Vesper aspires to create a cross-chain experience where users can manage assets on Polygon (or otherwise) and have deposits routed to Ethereum — or wherever the premium yield resides.

Polygon Grow pools will initially be incentivized with 1,000 VSP each for the first month. Further rewards after the first month are to-be-determined.

All Vesper-Polygon Grow Pools will be labeled Aggressive. As with all Grow pools, this includes a 0.6% withdrawal and 20% performance fee.

Users must have funds on Polygon in order to deposit to Vesper-Polygon. Please refer to Polygon documentation and community channels for further information or assistance.

With a successful Polygon deployment complete, Vesper is now planning to expand to additional EVM chains and Layer-2 networks (e.g., Avalanche, Arbitrum, or Fantom). You can follow this progress on the Vesper Roadmap page.

Note: Users are responsible for their own funds when moving across networks.
