Vesper Update: Language Support, Community Calls, and More
Here are three quick updates before the end of the week.
Language Support
The Vesper website has expanded to support eight languages: English, Spanish, French, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Russian, and Turkish. As Vesper is intended to be a borderless, global product, our language support is well on its way to reflecting this.
Fee Update
Based on feedback from the community, we lowered withdrawal fees in order to reflect the revenue draw from the platform fee. The new withdrawal fee is 0.6%, down from 1.5%, with the platform fee unchanged at 15% on yield accrued. The new withdrawal and existing platform fees should reflect a roughly 50/50 balance in terms of revenue generated. In the future all fee changes will be proposed and voted on by the community.
Community Call
Co-founders Jordan Kruger and Matthew Roszak, along with strategy team member Zane Huffman, led the second community call last Tuesday.
During this session, the team discussed the status of the Vesper beta to-date (including some live demos), next steps for Vesper, an update on governance, and wrapped up with its answers to community-delivered questions.
These calls are convened for members of the Vesper community who have been following the project closely or are otherwise experienced DeFi users. If this describes you, we encourage you to join our Discord, which serves as the first (and often exclusive) place where people can find out the very latest news, developments, and events.
