National Pet Week

We’re celebrating all of the wonderful fur babies out there that love us through the good, the bad, and the fuzzy! A huge thank you to the pets of the world for getting us through, and an even bigger thank you to the wonderful community that keeps them safe and healthy!
Vetcove Inventory Tip:
When was the last time you audited your practice’s charges? This week’s inventory tip focuses on ways you can make this process less intimidating and more time-friendly!! - If you’ve never audited, start small! Choose 2 large and 2 small cases per DVM, per month!
- Determine which specific records would be the best to review (medical records, invoices and charges, treatment sheets, hospital records, etc.) Include any information that may give you an idea of what was actually done during the appointment.
- Understand why it is important to audit for overall practice health: missing chargers and discounting services can play a significant role in high inventory costs. Anything that keeps your inventory costs the same while decreasing revenue will raise your COGS.
