Welcome to February folks! Here are the picks!!!

Tech Interview Handbook

I found this after an initial Front End Tech Interview with Facebook ( instead chose CBS ), but it was the toughest front end interview I had ever encountered. So when I saw that Yangshun, who is a member of the front end team and was making tech interview handbooks on github. Check out the one for front end as well as the one for general tech.

MachineLearningJS

Friday, we had a riveting conversation in our slack channel about sports ( there was some type of SportsCon this weekend 🙄) that somehow transitioned into a conversation about Atwood’s Law and Machine Learning. Ben, our resident Machine Learning Expert, made multiple points that I found intriguing. Afterwards I asked Ben if he could write a readme showcasing the best tools for machine learning. I think its a great map for those who are interested.

Flexbox Defense

Our CSS nerd Carla found this little nugget, and I have to say, it was kind of fun. A great way to practice Flexbox is to play with Flexbox and this is a great way to do it.

If this has helped you in any way, please consider supporting Vets Who Code. Also, our next session is in March and we are starting to answer applications next week, so if you are a veteran and looking to learn javascript with a bunch of other veterans, apply.
