Anna Lee is a front-end web developer and designer in Boston with a special interest in modular/extensible CSS and pixel-perfect design. Prior to joining the tech world, Anna worked as a researcher in pharmaceutical consulting for several years, conducting complex user studies and eventually publishing her work in diabetes in 2014. While working as a researcher, Anna became fascinated with the endless possibilities of the web and set her sights on transitioning to a career in web design and development, later landing her first coding gig at Society of Grownups.

Having experienced first-hand the opportunities and benefits that a career in technology can provide, Anna is passionate about helping others do the same. She first learned about Vets Who Code after hearing an interview with Founder, Jerome Hardaway, on the CodeNewbies’s podcast. As a strong proponent of diversity in tech and as a longtime supporter of our troops, Anna is excited about helping out as a Vets Who Code board member. When she’s not in front of the computer, Anna enjoys nature photography, playing with her Boston Terrier named Penny, and spending time at the beach. Anna currently works at VirMedica Inc. as a UI Engineer. You can reach her on Twitter at @nna_Lee.
