Say Hello To David, #VWC Director of The Board

David is Founder of Jacksson David and StartupDad, interim COO for InnovisLabs, and a SBA Emerging Leaders instructor. An honors graduate with a Masters’ degree in Public Administration, David joined NASA and worked in the aerospace industry for 13 years serving as a program analyst, manager and consultant for the Shuttle, Space Lab and Space Station programs. Since leaving the aerospace industry, David has owned and operated several businesses in the fields of risk management, retail and business consulting, run a $52M program as the Deputy Director of the Arkansas Energy Office, and invested in dozens of Arkansas startup technology companies. Currently, he is the founder and principal of Jacksson David LLC, a full service consulting firm focused on small to medium size businesses with high growth potential. David and his team have worked with a variety of companies to commercialize products and services in science, software as a service, online retail, and energy technology fields, as well as providing CEO coaching, COO services, talent acquisition and marketing.

Following his passion for entrepreneurship and education, David currently serves on the boards of the EAST Initiative and Vets Who Code, non-profits dedicated to education, technology training, veterans and supporting startup companies. He volunteers with a variety of nonprofits, supports Startup Weekend, G60 Pitch Contest, Barcamp, Hack-A- Thons and other entrepreneurial events, and the ARK Challenge business accelerator. In addition to consulting, David also enjoys speaking and writing on leadership, organizational culture, and entrepreneurship. David is a devoted husband, father and Christian who enjoys the outdoors, skiing, sports, and playing the drums.
