It’s the 35th Anniversary of Labyrinth, and to celebrate The Jim Henson Company is launching their first-ever NFT digital collectibles in partnership with VeVe.

Jim Henson’s Labyrinth

In an adventure that is equal parts magical and entertaining, Labyrinth is a millennial classic that revolves around young teenager Sarah who wishes away her baby stepbrother- a wish granted by the Goblin King Jareth (David Bowie)- and her journey through the Labyrinth to bring him home.

The 1986 musical fantasy film was directed by Jim Henson (creator of The Muppets), with George Lucas (Star Wars) as executive producer, and Brian Froud as the conceptual designer.

“After 35 years, Jim Henson’s Labyrinth is still beloved and respected as one of the unique and groundbreaking films of its era. It’s a perfect tribute to have fans of this innovative production celebrate Labyrinth’s anniversary with this incredible line of must-have NFT collectibles.

Partnering with VeVe for The Jim Henson Company’s first-ever NFT release allows our dedicated and ever-growing fanbase to connect with the film’s cast of characters in an entirely new and engaging product landscape.”

— Melissa Segal, Head of Consumer Products, The Jim Henson Company.
