Many of his works aim at corporate America — such as the obese McDonald’s mascot that many will recognise from the documentary Super Size Me — and are often complete with not-so-subtle reminders of the impact mass-media advertising is having on the consumer culture of today.
Now Ron’s modern and satirical stylings move further into the world of pop culture, offering a range of premium 2D and 3D digital collectibles and artworks on VeVe.

VeVe CEO David Yu has been a fan of Ron’s work since 2009 when he began to collect some of his pieces. The pair have formed a more personal relationship since 2016, and Yu is particularly enamoured with Ron’s use of bright and evocative colours and the bold statements he is willing to make with his art.

POPaganda
Combining his pop-art stylings with a very real commentary on our consumerist culture, Ron has hijacked corporate advertising across the world to challenge our illusory views of the world that it has created.
POPaganda- a term coined by the artist- describes Ron’s signature mash-up of cultural touchstones and satirical messaging to create both confrontational and thought-provoking works.
Often referred to as the Godfather of Street Art, and occasionally the ‘Billboard Bandit,’ Ron is also credited with graffiti’s transition from underground sub-culture to the evocative and narrative style murals seen today.
Over the past 20 years, he has hijacked over 1000 billboards to bring this social commentary to the forefront and created anti-ad campaigns throughout the US.

Ron uses a hands-on approach when it comes to designing his works, sculpting and creating a 3D Showroom of his own and he transforms objects and imagery into unique worlds of design and imagination.
Not only does this create an incredible basis for his work as collectible items, but according to Yu it is this design element that allows Ron’s ‘brushstrokes to turn a blank canvas into a photograph.’

Ron’s first digital collectibles release on VeVe- Cereal Killers- takes aim at the gluttonous breakfast foods promoted by corporate America, with 12 digital collectibles released over 3 series. His work is clearly in demand, as the series 1 release (more than 11,500 collectibles) sold out in less than 10 minutes. The complete set will allow VeVe collectors to form an image of the famous painting “Last Fat Breakfast.”
We’ll be offering a range of Ron’s work on VeVe, and his iconic grim-reaper inspired ‘Grin’ will also be making a debut with an upcoming release- Rabbit Grin. These incredible chromatic works bridge the physical and digital collectible worlds, offering collectors the chance to acquire a limited edition digital release, and receive the matching physical sculpture, complete with unique identifiers.
Available in both silver (chrome) and gold, there will only be 100 of each of these mirror-finished sculptures available to collect.
