Luke Chueh x Munkyking
Munkyking started in ’03 in Chinatown LA, Southern California’s first designer toy store. They expanded to a gallery and flagship store on Melrose, fueling the genre’s growth with art shows, signings, releases and events. The brand has moved away from retail and spent the last decade creating designer toys with a roster of renown pop-surrealist artists.
Born in Philly, raised in Fresno, Luke Chueh, pronounced CHU, studied graphic design at Cal Poly (BS in Art & Design). After an award-winning illustration and design career, Chueh moved to LA in 2003, launching his fine art career at the iconic, underground art show, Cannibal Flower. Chueh has since grown into an LA art scene staple, employing minimal color schemes, simple animal characters, and an endless list of ill-fated situations. He stylistically balances cute with brute, walking the line between comedy and tragedy, and has been featured in galleries worldwide with many paintings turned into vinyl toys.
Headspace Black Bear
“Headspace” is based on a series of paintings created by Luke Chueh over the past few years. The series is Luke’s attempt to give credit to the things that have had an impact on his life/career.
The black bear in the white costume is a theme Luke has been illustrating throughout his career. The idea of showing one thing while internally being the polar opposite is a feeling Luke believes that everyone can empathize with.

Tara McPherson
Tara McPherson is an artist based in New York. Exploring concepts surrounding the human condition, her characters hold a tension in their gaze. Inspired by mythology, astrophysics, nature, love, loss, and good old life experience. Her portraits delve into the realms of our psychological states, giving us a peek into the complexities of the human psyche through her other worldly archetypes. Tara exhibits her paintings and serigraphs in fine art galleries all over the world. Named the crown princess of poster art by ELLE Magazine, she has created numerous gig posters for rock bands such as Beck, The Pixies, and Metallica. She has worked with Sony Pictures Animation doing character designs & creative development. Her array of art also includes a variety of toys with Kidrobot, painted covers for DC Vertigo Comics, advertising illustrations for Wyden+Kennedy, Barton F Graf, Publicis, and Bernstein Andrulli. She taught in the illustration department at Parsons in NYC for 4 years.
Lilitu
Based on the Sumerian myth of the demon Lilitu, this sexually charged yet infertile succubus represents chaos, seduction, and ungodliness. Lilitu behaves aggressively towards men and children, killing them at her every whim. Her breasts are filled with poison, not milk. Through her wicked ways, Lilitu has cast an evil spell on humankind.

Jermaine Rogers is widely recognized as one of the leaders in the field of modern rock poster and ‘pop art’. He has created posters and artwork for a wide variety of musical artists, including Nine Inch Nails, David Bowie, Run The Jewels, Tool, Radiohead, Childish Gambino, Queens Of The Stone Age, Foo Fighters, and many others. Allison Bamcat is a color-obsessed painter living in Los Angeles. Through her use of texture, expression, and vivid color, she invokes feelings of nostalgia, magic, intensity, and gravity. The creatures, props and plants in her paintings serve as guides on her personal journey. Bamcat works in Acryla gouache for her fine art painting and also creates large-scale murals throughout the US. She has been exhibiting at DesignerCon for many years.
