Brett Crawford
Brett Crawford (b. 1967) is a multi-disciplinary artist living in Southern California. His work explores the ideas of redemption through storytelling. Characters become part of his world and create an ongoing narrative that laces itself through his collective work. Utilizing familiar figures and giving them new treatment, Brett investigates his life and journey in themes like “S3LFMADE” and “INTROSP3CT,” all of which are part street, part pop and part revolutionary. Brett bends and combines techniques to create a pictorial language that is simultaneously familiar and yet brand new.
Brett has a series of exciting projects and shows that will keep him busy for the foreseeable future, and in his own words, “is living the best part of his entire life.”
S3LF MADE
VeVe is excited to debut the S3LF MADE digital sculpture by Brett Crawford. Two years in the making, the figure is based on Crawford’s original painting of a wood boy in the final stages of carving himself from a tree. A fresh, modern take on the classic fairytale, the inspiring piece is rooted in the relentless hard work, persistence and vision found in every story of self-made success.
S3LF MADE celebrates the journey as much as the destination. The struggle before success, and the process that delivers results and the grind to gold. The most satisfying, enduring success is made by one’s own hand, bit by bit, part by part, day after day and year after year. Becoming self-made, is about transforming into your ultimate vision of yourself. Brett Crawford’s first original art-toy-turned-NFT, and his art as a whole, invites you to craft and share your own self-made story.

Tristan Eaton
At age 18, LA-born artist Tristan Eaton designed his first toy for Fisher-Price, and quickly became a driving force in the world of Art Toys. Upon graduating from the School of Visual Arts in New York, Eaton co-founded the legendary KidRobot. Proving his versatility and solidifying a place for himself across mediums and genres, he founded Thunderdog Studios, where he amassed a roster of high profile clients including Nike and Universal. In the years since, Eaton has become one of the most prominent international muralists, earning the coveted job of rendering the classic Universal Monsters at Universal Studios and an elusive licensing deal with Marvel. Eaton’s work can be seen in the Museum of Modern Art’s (MoMA) permanent collection, the Cooper Hewitt Museum, and, up until very recently, the Long Beach Museum of Art, which hosted a career retrospective spanning decades of Eaton’s work.
GLOSS LORD
Tristan Eaton’s sculptural self portrait, ‘VICELORD,’ is entering the metaverse as a suite of NFTs. Originally a large 5 foot tall physical sculpture, this is the first and only release into the digital space. This iteration is further evolving Eaton’s collage style of painting into 3D.
Inspired by Japanese kaiju and Japanese robot toys, Eaton describes VICELORD as ‘the patron saint of self destruction’ and embodies the notion that we are often our own worst enemies rolled into one.
