Paradise on Earth: Porto Santo

There are many places around the world that are authentic paradises… But very few are a small island in the Atlantic, with 9 km of golden sand… Well, welcome to this Paradise on Earth: Porto Santo!

Porto Santo is located north of Madeira, a little over 1h30 flight from Lisbon. This island is a small oasis is ideal to relieve stress.

In fact, if you are looking for a place to relax, you couldn’t have found better! You don’t need to fly long distances to the Philippines, Thailand or the Maldives… It’s right next door and the weather is good all year round!

We were in Porto Santo in October, shortly after our passage through Malta and the weather was incredible!

But it’s not just the beach in Porto Santo… Vila Baleira — the capital -, the Miradouro das Flores and the Miradouro da Portela are some examples of places to visit in this island.

But, once again, the strong point is really the beach!

Golden sand, calm, warm sea and clear waters are what make this small island an authentic Paradise on Earth!
