Once we launched our “new and improved” Viberate.com, things started to escalate quickly — but in a good way. In true end-of-the-year fashion, we’re looking back on 5 recent events worthy of celebration.

Just these past couple of weeks:

  • We received recognition from techno royalty: Carl Cox & Charlotte de Witte;
  • Thousands of musicians claimed their profiles;
  • Our contributor community grew to 20,000;
  • Our data findings caught the attention of international media and got published;
  • 6 new inspiring people joined our team.

One more reason to claim a profile

With numerous new features available on Viberate.com, thousands of artists have checked in to claim their profile and to check out new gig opportunities at nearby venues. Easy filtering by location, prevailing genre, and capacity has proved to be among the most popular features.

As we know some talent needs just a little boost to get noticed, we decided to go the extra mile: we check every single musician who claims their profile and regularly pick 5 aspiring artists who get featured in Viberate Instagram and Facebook Stories. If you’re wondering who made our most recent list, check the Music Friday Highlights below.

Reaching a new community milestone

When it comes to our platform, we know that good word travels fast, and by the end of November, we were thrilled to see the result of those travels: our community grew to 20,000 contributors worldwide. United by a passion for music and armed with loads of music facts, every single contributor is here to share their knowledge and help artists break through on a global platform.

If you know your way around the music scene, and are curious about joining our community, don’t miss these 3 reasons to become a contributor yourself:

Our Music Insights went viral

We’ll admit it time and time again: we’re music geeks who absolutely love exploring, excavating and explaining data. How could we not — with all our Viberate stats gathered throughout the years, we have the unique opportunity to dig deep into anything that’s happening in music right now; from pinpointing the fastest- rising artists and establishing which genres own which digital platforms, to studying how a collab can boost an artists’s career.

Our recent insights have covered topics such as successful music biz strategies, the power of networking, festival breakdowns, and even seasonal hits. We must have done something right, as a number of our articles got picked up by various sites, including leading music production mag MusicTech, and German techno giant FazeMag.

Carl Cox & Charlotte de Witte gave Viberate a shout-out

The Good viral times just kept on rolling and ultimately brought about another reason for the festive season: Carl Cox and Charlotte de Witte, two of the hottest techno artists right now, saw our Techno Invasion article and shared it with their fans. Charlotte’s fan community even joked about naming her next album “Techno Invasion” — how cool is that?!

The team is growing

As we’ve said, things were escalating, so we were more than happy to welcome 6 new talented people to our team. Blaz, Adis, and Anze joined our development team, Miha brought new power to the product department, and Rebeka and Tine are helping take care of our database.

Here they are, joined by our Database administrator Nino flashing his “V-is-for-Viberate” signs to help them smile for the camera.

p.s. Job opportunity for project managers!
