In June, our team consumed more than 60 liters of ice cream. That makes one thing clear — our bodies are NOT summer-ready. But who really cares?! We have so many amazing things in the pipeline that no one wants to miss out on anything.

The end of the research groundwork period is here and we are ready to start building 6 new amazing, game-changing platforms and apps that will be introduced to the world in the following months. The first in line is focused on helping you discover unique party experiences tailored to your taste.

There are so many developments business-wise, from 2 new listings on exchanges, a new visual identity — Viberate.io and celebrity endorsements to important new partnerships with the biggest tickets providers in the world: Ticketmaster, Skiddle and Eventbrite, and we are not stopping there.

On the other hand, we always keep track of what is going on in music and there are some incredible artists who really made a huge impact. So here are the full insights about the bangers that crushed some records this month.

What happens when a hip-hop diva collaborates with Latin superstars?

Cardi B first rocked the charts with her mega hit “Bodak Yellow” last year, with which she dethroned Taylor Swift from the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The chart-topping MC was named one of the 100 most influential people by the Time magazine and, just a couple of months later, she introduced her debut studio album Invasion of Privacy.

Just when you thought things couldn’t get any better, she teamed up with the reggeaton star J. Balvin and Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny for “I Like it” and the numbers went through the roof. The Bronx Queen got almost a million new subscribers and 262M views on her YouTube channel in June. That is crazy.

How to seize the Instagram throne

Even though Soundcloud stays the most popular channel for hip-hop artists, there are some significant movements on other social networks as well. In June, a huge turnaround happened on Instagram, where three out of four spots now belong to hip-hop stars. Just a month ago, the story was completely different with the pop divas Dua Lipa, Ariana Grande and Camila Cabello on top.

The 9 fastest-rising hip-hop stars on Instagram collected more than 11M followers, which is the same as Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa, Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, Marshmello, Shakira and Taylor Swift combined.

Keep an eye on these guys

Some might think that 6IX9INE, Trippie Redd and Juice WRLD came out of nowhere, but that is not true. 6IX9INE began releasing rap songs in 2014 but he was first noticed in 2017 when one of his Instagram posts with rainbow-dyed hair went viral. Trippie Redd and Juice WRLD had both frequently been on the top of the Soundcloud charts but never really had a huge following on Instagram. That all changed dramatically. This month, these guys reached an incredible number of new followers and we’ve got to say their engagement is HUUUGE!

How we convinced a superstar to…

REDFOO, who as a former member of LMFAO racked up over 3.4 billion YouTube views, just joined the Viberate family. As a big believer in blockchain & an Ethereum programmer himself, he was intrigued by what we are doing! Of course he also claimed his Viberate profile as we talked about a possible collaboration.
