Big Plans for the Summer
It took us a while to find time to sit down and reminisce about all the amazing things that happened over the past several weeks. We had incredible meetings with some of the most influential people from the industry, hosted the Bitcoin Cash founder, inspired leading tech company with our vision, welcomed 8 talented people into our team and launched a completely new product for festivals.
One thing is sure, our team is inspired by music and ready to inspire others! We got 15 artists, 10 event organizers and dozens of festival lovers in our team. And when you put all the music enthusiasts together, incredible things happen. This time we’ve taken all the recent festival trends and developed a simple, yet powerful and easy to use app that will become festivals’ main communication channel and a central hub for every piece of information festivals have to offer to promote long-term sustainability and breed loyal fans.
Now every festival can get its own app
With our new product, every single festival, small, medium or big, can get a completely customized app with rich artists profiles that include up to date music content, a complete overview of the activities on the festival and a unique communication channel. Every single fan can create a completely personalized schedule based on their taste and receive notifications when their favorite artists take the stage. They can look at the lineup by date, stage and play times, presented in either list or grid view.
Several of the festival organizers that we talked with in the research phase immediately grabbed the opportunity and requested a mobile app for their festival. First of them is one of the biggest metal festivals in Europe — MetalDays that will happen between 21.-27. July in Tolmin, Slovenia. Metaldays app powered by Viberate was launched last Friday and boomed on app store immediately. Thousands of festival-goers are now in constant communication on the app and are already exploring all the features the app has to offer.
Brace yourself — Viberate 3.0 is coming
While some are making holiday plans for the summer, our mind is dedicated to one thing and one thing only — Viberate 3.0. Our platform that will give artists, booking agents, promoters and music fans the opportunity to get a deeper knowledge about trends, will be launched at the beginning of July. This powerful tool will help everyone involved with music to showcase their best work and discover new business opportunities. With numbers of features based on big data, artists will finally have more time to focus on music and make more efficient business decisions to grow their career.

The news keep getting better
Recently our founders Matej and Vasja sat down with the well-known Bitcoin Cash founder and Bitcoin.com CEO Roger Ver to talk about our plans for the future. We shared some previews of the upcoming platform and it was great to get his feedback.
Only a few days later at the International Music Summit, Kevin Watson, London-based strategy specialist, shared interesting insights into the music business over the past year. We powered some interesting Insights for his annual IMS Business report, using unique data provided by Viberate. Here is a small overview of what Kevin Watson shared with music industry leaders at IMS this year.
To put the cherry on top, we got some unexpected but pretty amazing news. The world known hit maker Silento who generated over 1.8B YouTube plays found out about Viberate and wanted to join our family. We are extremely proud to have such a young and promising artist among us.
How we impressed Microsoft
As one of the top startups, Viberate was invited to join one of Europe’s leading tech festivals — Webit. Even before going to Bucharest, our founders got a number of meeting requests from amazing international companies that wanted to hear more about Viberate. On the second day, our co-founder Vasja Veber had a powerful pitch on the Webit stage. After the show (literally), guys from Microsoft were so impressed with the technology we are working on, they invited us on a meeting to talk about a possible collaboration.
Celebration time
1605 or May 16 is UMEK’s day! As a co-founder and an incredible artist with more than 25 years of experience, he is a true inspiration to us. To have a #1 techno producer in the world in our team is an advantage no one in the world has. Right now 5 of his tracks are on Beatport Techno Top 100 chart. Brethren is #4 and his newest banger Vibrancy that was released just a few days ago is #3. We could not be prouder.
