Fresh Out the Oven: Grid and Map View
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and rising to the occasion, we’ve baked a few goodies to make the search experience on Viberate.com a piece of cake. How do they make things better? We’ll explain.
Since the very beginning, we’ve been putting all our hours towards one goal: to bring order to the chaotic world of live music and offer tools that will help artists and other music professionals make better decisions. That’s how we’ve built a music network that brings together more than one million profiles of artists, venues, festivals, and events. It’s now easier than ever to dig deep, find exactly what you’re looking for, and make discoveries you’ll be thrilled about. This just in: grid and map view.
Grid view for easy artist discovery
First, check the Artists page and you’ll find almost all the musicians out there sorted by their digital popularity, meaning their performance on Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Spotify, and SoundCloud. Yes, there are more than 460k of them on the platform at this moment. The result of the new feature is a clear view, where you can even listen to track previews right away.
Not only do you get all the artists in one place, searching for them is now straightforward and convenient. Musicians can discover new collab possibilities by filtering other artists by country, genre, and subgenre. Also, by checking their profiles, they can easily stay updated with what their peers are doing. Music professionals, on the other hand, can look for aspiring artists to book and sign.
Find venues on the map
Map view makes searching for Venues effortless. There are 150k venues in our database, but fear not — it’s simple to pinpoint the right one. Filter venues by type, capacity or genre of the artists they book most frequently. The blue square will tell you if there’s an event happening this week. On the list, hover over the venue you want to check out, and it will pop up on the map.
Once you get to a specific venue’s profile, you can also check which artists have performed there previously, so it’s perfect for artists who are searching for new venues to pitch gigs.
Festivals all over the world right where you can see them
With 5k festivals on the platform, it would be a shame to attend the same old one for the seventh time. With the new map view, it’s child’s play to narrow the selection and create your festival bucket lists. Filter the festivals by genre, size, special features, and timeframe. Maybe you’ll also find an excuse for your next trip.
It’s all coming together. Go to town on Viberate.com. 🙌
