As an ex marketing agency CEO, religiously following deadlines has always been my obsession. When you work with international clients, you really don’t have any other option than to deliver when promised, especially if your services include events.
Deadlines are set for a reason and not meeting them isn’t acceptable. When you set your own deadlines, it’s even more crucial that you meet them, unless you want to come out as unreliable. Sure, it happens to everyone from time to time, and when it does, you better have a good reason and a plan to make things right again.
We met our deadline for launching venue profiles and now in addition to 120 thousand musician profiles, you can browse through 50 thousand venue profiles.
As always, if you don’t find what you’re looking for, you can add the profile and we’ll put it into the database after a quick verification process. What we’re doing here is awesome! We want to list and map all music venues in the world with a little help of our user community (you’ll be able to earn VIB if you contribute). If you’re a fan, this means that if you’ll find yourself stranded somewhere in Copenhagen and will feel a sudden urge to attend a music event, all you’ll have to do is log in, we’ll locate you and list you venues in your vicinity. If you’ll tell us your taste, we’ll even filter out the events that fit your preference! That’s right, each event now has its own profile, containing the lineup, venue information and soon we’ll start implementing ticket links.
Social media popularity matters also for venues, so we took advantage of the our analytics engine we built for analyzing artists and implemented in into venue profiles. You can check which ones are trending, so you don’t spend your Friday night in an empty club.
