We knew we are onto something when we received an invite to be a part of the biggest electronic conference in the world — Amsterdam Dance Event 2018, but we had no idea the following days would be so crazy.

📌 Viberate Analytics: Professional music analytics suite at an unbeatable price: $9.90/mo. Charts, talent discovery tools, plus Spotify, TikTok, and other channel-specific analytics of every artist out there.

How we got discovered by music industry leaders at ADE 2018

It all started a few months ago when we got the letter of invitation to participate at the 50:HERTZ panel at the most luxurious Hotel in Amsterdam — Hotel TwentySeven. When music industry leaders found out we are coming to ADE 2018, they went nuts. The meeting requests were flying in like crazy.

We flew in directly to the panel where artists, event managers, and label owners discussed the opportunities and the future trends on the electronic scene. While overlooking the Royal Palace, our co-founder UMEK spoke about the new era of music where it is not enough to be just an artist. Nowadays an artist needs a good digital performance, needs to be an entrepreneur and understand the trends. And Viberate is here to help artists with all that.

But that was just the beginning, the following days were filled with meetings with some pretty big names from festival organizers, booking agents, journalists, artists, crypto influencers, publicists and ticket providers. To manage everything, we needed a mastermind logistic plan. And to be honest, Uber did not help. So we were walking, and we were walking a lot. On average we spend 3,5 hours walking and got hit by a bike at least once per day. But we did not stop!

What electronic superstars think about Viberate

At the Awakenings festival at Gashouder, we met with techno superstars Joseph Capriati & Enrico Sangiuliano, that were excited to hear how an in-depth look into data of an artist or genre can help them understand the trends on the music scene. Festival organizers and booking agents saw the opportunity in the trend predicting that would help them book the next big artists just in time for their event. Meanwhile, we also met with one of the strongest electronic music influencers who is connected to Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, Maceo Plex, Joris Voorn — Bradley Gunn Raver.

You know you are onto something big when Mixmag publishes your insights

Our data science department worked on the most extensive in-depth analysis of three of the biggest electronic music festivals — Tomorrowland, EDC and Ultra Miami for weeks. And we were ready to release the insights just in time for ADE 2018. But what happened a few days before the event was beyond our imagination. The most influential electronic music magazine Mixmag was so fascinated with it that they included it in their newest edition that was released at Amsterdam Dance Event.

And while still going strong in Amsterdam, we got noticed by most visited online electronic music site — YourEDM, which published our in-depth look into the numbers of ADE 2018. With more than 2.500 artists performing at the event, we dug up some pretty interesting facts about the music scene there.

Launch of the Tonight App is almost here

Back at the office our team focused their strengths on the Tonight App which is going to be released in the beginning of December. Your personal party guide, that will bring the best possible user experience, is now getting final touches on the features. There is only few days left until the release, so the topic is already buzzing around. Some of the big names on event organizers sides saw the potential of the App and knocked on our door to talk about the collaboration.
