We’ve been busy bees this summer and we’re just getting started. From Viberate 3.0, the Tonight app to the festival app — check the latest news from our house.

Last month we silently launched new Viberate.com — a platform where music professionals can showcase their work, track performance, gain knowledge, and explore among thousands of creative and business opportunities.

But why silently, you ask?

After extensive research we came up with a revolutionary platform. Now it’s time to test it. We are meeting with music professionals and talking with early adopters on a daily basis with one vision: to create a completely personalized music discovery for each and everyone involved in the music industry.

At the moment, Viberate.com is connecting over a million artists, events, and music professionals into a truly global network. Each artist, venue, event, and festival gets its own rich profile, enhanced with its newest and top-performing content, gigs, social media, and other relevant links. This means artists can send their up-to-date Viberate profile to promoters, talent scouts and event organizers. It also allows them to find new artists to collaborate with and get inspired by. Plus, they can find music venues they didn’t know existed and see where the competition is playing. There’s much more to come in the following months.

What’s up with Tonight?

Over the year, Tonight turned into a well-known brand among the fans, artists, and music professionals. It’s pretty obvious why fans love to return to the app, right? Finding the right party has never been easier. For artists and venue owners, on the other hand, Tonight became the only promotional tool that helps them reach the outgoing users that are hooked on specific genres. They can build their community and keep fans in the loop with the latest events automatically.

Artists, venue owners, and event organizers turned to us for collaboration. To give users the taste of the upcoming events, we created weekly live streams with artists performing on the Tonight Stage at Viberate HQ.

You can discover more highlights from artists that performed at Tonight Stage here.

So far, we’ve hosted talented artists from all over Europe including the creator of the world-known hit ‘WHO’, Plastik Funk, and #1 Croatian DJ, Kosta Radman. Feel free to slide into our DMs if you see yourself on our stage and have an interesting proposal for collaboration. You can find them here.

Berlin Calling!

After the groundbreaking performance of the Tonight app in Slovenia, where it reached #1 on App Store and Google Play in the first 24 hours after launch, we are heading to Berlin. We all know Berlin for its always vibrant electronic music scene, but did you know this city nurtures almost every single music genre with more than 3,500 events monthly? We couldn’t ask for a better playing ground.

Our team is ready to bring the app both to the digital world and the streets of European party destination. The campaign starts in a week and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with partygoers in Berlin.

Turning our passion for festivals into business

It’s not a secret that we are passionate about music. Most of us worked in the music industry before, some of us are DJs, some earned a living as booking agents, and some of us even organized the biggest festivals in the region. With years of experience and the strongest music data source in our hands, we knew we could help many festival organizers to give visitors one-of-a-kind festival experience with all important information in their pocket. Legendary MetalDays Festival, which brings an incredible number of 12,000 metalheads to the beautiful Soča Valley every year, started the series of summer festivals for which we created official apps. The app for MetalDays was launched more than a month before the festival and we didn’t expect much buzz until the start of it. Oh, how wrong we were.

App goes viral!

MetalDays attendees went nuts — the app reached the first thousand users 4 weeks before the festival. By the beginning, more than 75% of attendees downloaded it. The majority of festival-goers created their personalized schedule of performing artists. Every third used the chat feature to find a ride, to meet new beer buddies, or even to seek medical help. With an average of more than 1,200 users every minute, we can easily say the app became an essential communication tool of the festival.

We received plenty of 5-star ratings on App Store and Google Play, great feedback on the ground, and then, we got this amazing review in the media into our mailbox. Here’s the translated version: “There were no concerns about being late to your favorite bands’ shows as the organizers provided the MetalDays app with the full lineup, notifications about your favorite artists’ performances, information about special gastronomic offer, and more. With two or three clicks and your feet in the Soča river, it was possible to get all the important information.”

With all that great feedback, we continued our work with great partners including the sold-out Punk Rock Festival and Castle Kolpa Festival. Now we are thrilled to announce that we are creating an official app for Sea Dance, a festival organized by the EXIT Team. At the end of August, the festival is bringing some of the biggest names from the electronic music scene including David Guetta, Sven Väth, Richie Hawtin, and Robin Schulz.

We’re on track. Stay tuned!
