Protesters have rallied outside Melbourne’s State Library for this year’s annual SlutWalk.
The event has become a global phenomenon since its inception in Toronto in 2011.
SlutWalks began in response to comments made by a Canadian police officer who said “women should avoid dressing like sluts in order not to be victimized.”
