Bonnie Pan Lands at AwesomenessTV as Head of Network

Role Set to Lead Content Production Across AwesomenessTV’s Channels

After a checkered time spent at Endemol Shine Beyond, the digital division of Endemol Shine, Bonnie Pan has landed at AwesomenessTV in a newly-created role — Head of Network, where she’ll be responsible for production across Awesomeness TV’s branded channels on YouTube, Facebook as well as a AwesomenessTV’s new news channel. She’ll report to the recently appointed CEO Jordan Levin, who replaced founding CEO Brian Robbins.

According to sources familiar with the hire, Pan was chosen because of her production chops from digital-first companies like Yahoo and Maker Studios and will largely be replacing the responsibilities held by Joe Davola, who is no longer active in a day to day capacity.

In many ways, the role is like a return to Pan’s roots at Yahoo, where the team was creating news-forward, quick-twitch short form video content for distribution by Yahoo-owned channels. It’s also an area where her work shined at Endemol Shine Beyond — some of Beyond’s most successful programming was live and short form across its various social video channels, particularly Faceboook. As Head of Network, she will build the strategy and run production for a high volume output. Former AwesomenessTV Chief Digital Officer, Kelly Day, will be Pan’s counterpart in her recent role change to Chief Business Officer where she runs sales and revenue.
