Introducing the 2015 VI Power-Sixer

We are thrilled to announce our second annual Power-Sixer and our inaugural Dealmakers list to celebrate not only the progression of this industry but the people who have shaped its present and set the foundation for the future.

We are in the throes of an exciting time for video as distribution strategies, revenue structures, video technologies, and brand activity continue to disrupt the old Hollywood paradigm. But these changes don’t happen overnight. It takes the shepherding hand of a visionary to guide the flock towards the future and to charge a new path — that is the way of the Power-Sixer and the spirit of the these individuals who join our 2014 class of Sixers.

Supporting those visionary strategies are the Dealmakers behind the scenes innovating the deal structures that enable big industry shifts, which is why we see these lists as intimately intertwined. The Power-Sixers may be setting the deal agendas but without the lawyers, agents, managers, and licensors to help get the ink on the line, such deals may never see the light of day.

So without further adieu, here are the 2015 Power Sixer and Dealmakers of the year.
