Stan Lee’s Pow! Entertainment and YouTube are coming together on a new global production program that will allow various YouTube stars and channels to create original superhero-themed videos.

As part of the deal between Pow! and YouTube, starting this week, select creators will get the chance to “develop an original superhero concept” and produce that content using unique sets and other production resources provided by YouTube Spaces in Los Angeles, New York, London, Tokyo, and Sao Paulo. Creators and channels participating in this program include The Brothers Riedell, Adi Shankar and Lana McKissack.

Additionally, Pow! will offer participating creators educational sessions with top stunt coordinators and visual effects experts, as well as professional costume consultations to help create an original look for their superheroes. Twelve channels will also be selected for a script consultation with Pow!’s development team, while six lucky channels will win a script consultation with the comic-book legend himself.

Videos created as part of this program, which is titled “YouTube’s World of Superheroes,” will roll out between mid-June and the end of July on the participating creators’ channels. The content will also be promoted on Stan Lee’s World of Heroes channel and the official channel for YouTube Spaces.

On a related note, YouTube also announced a key milestone for its growing “YouTube Spaces” initiative, which aims to provide certified creators a variety of video production, monetization, and educational resources. Creators filming in YouTube Spaces have now produced more than 10,000 videos, which have combined to generate more than 1 billion views and more than 70 million hours of watch-time on the video site.
