It wasn’t too long ago that we had to rely on mass media call-in shows to fight for the chance to ask our favorite celebs a question. If you could dial fast enough, or hit redial enough times you might get in. Today you can enjoy a great conversation with your favorite celebrity and submitting a question is as easy as posting a comment.

NBC Nightly News chose to live stream a feed from Ohio State today after a shooting incident. They updated their live feed with information in a lower third graphic. The stream ran for 80 minutes and informed 1 million viewers about the situation. It was shared 14,000 times.
