Hello Bear!

So irresistibly cute!

--

I was waiting at the bakery to buy bread, watching a little girl tell her mom what she wanted, as the baker looked on, amused. It reminded me of the days I took my son there as a toddler.

The bakery has since changed names at least three times during the past twenty years. However, the staff has not changed.

They still remember my son and fondly ask about him even though they haven’t seen him for almost eight years now after he left to study on campus. They recall his favorites — he was so fond of pizza and would always request them to grate some extra cheese on top.

The place gives me a nice feeling and I enjoy inhaling the aromas whenever I pass it — and feel wonderful when the staff waves to me and smiles at me.

So when I went to buy bread today and saw the usual folks drop by I had a sense of happiness, a sense of familiarity.

A sense of gratitude.

And it seemed like that little bear face was directly looking at me…saying hello again!

Could not resist clicking a photo!
