In India, we enjoy a festival every other day/month and each festival is dedicated to a deity. Of these, Diwali or Deepavali-the festival of lights is celebrated across India and by Indians all over the world in different ways. The festivities last five days. Five days of fun, food, new clothes, firecrackers, and lights — celebrations with family and friends. The five-day festival starts on Dhanteras and ends on Bhai Dooj.
